This video (VHS format) uses filmed surgical footage, along with additional didactic material, to review the history, indications, preoperative evaluation, complications and the basic technique of performing a radical hysterectomy.

It is intended to provide those unfamiliar with this procedure a basic understanding of the role of the radical hysterectomy in the treatment of gynecologic malignancy, while providing more experienced surgeons a better appreciation of surgical techniques and anatomic relationships useful in the surgical treatment of both benign and malignant gynecologic disease processes.
