The submission deadline has passed.

The Innovation Fest demonstrates innovative tools and resources that can be used to advance ob-gyn medical education. Examples include low-fidelity simulation, educational films, gamification, case-based flipped classroom, digital applications, or interactive web-based curricula. Submissions should be actual products that can be and/or are being used for ob-gyn healthcare education.

The APGO FDS is a fully in-person meeting with no options for virtual or hybrid presentations or attendance.

The APGO community is committed to the elimination of systemic racism and the resultant disparities in health care and the learning environment. Presenters are encouraged to consider and plan to specifically mention how contributions to the 2025 FDS would be applicable in this regard. Presenters must follow the APGO Educational Guidelines for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and adhere to the Checklist for Curricular Materials for Faculty Development Seminar Speakers.

Innovation Fest tools/resources must meet the following criteria:

• Applicable for UME ob-gyn education
• Usable as an educational tool/product to teach students, faculty, others, including IPE
• Free for use by the APGO membership
  

Abstract Format:

• Title of the Innovative Tool/Resource (maximum of 100 characters, including spaces)
• Author(s) (maximum of two)
• Type of tool/resource (low-fidelity simulation, educational films, gamification, case-based flipped classroom, digital applications, or interactive web-based curricula, other (specify))
• Targeted learners
• Précis (maximum of 140 characters, including spaces)
• Abstract (maximum of 100 words)
  • Objective or purpose of the tool/resource
  • Description of how the tool/resource is currently being used or how you plan to use it at your home institution
  • Word count
• Innovation Fest presenters are required to bring ALL equipment/supplies needed for their displays. Will you need power (standard 120V outlet) to operate your innovation? (Y/N)
