The APGO POWER Program provides a highly sought-after career development and presentation opportunity for a limited number of prospective first-time presenters whose abstracts were not accepted to receive personalized coaching and mentoring from senior APGO FDS Program Committee members either by delivering their abstract or by attending this session. This valuable program has delivered nearly 100% results in future workshop submissions being accepted to future APGO FDS programs. 

• POWER presenters give a 5-minute oral presentation of their workshop proposal (not the actual workshop) in a closed-group in-person session that will be followed by personalized coaching and mentoring by senior APGO FDS faculty members.
• NEW in 2026!  A limited number of eligible POWER participants will also be invited to attend this session for coaching and mentoring.
• If you are a prospective first-time presenter at APGO FDS and would like your workshop abstract to be considered for the POWER Program, please indicate your interest on the abstract submission form.
• Abstracts considered for the POWER Program are submitted, reviewed, and ranked through the standard abstract submission process.
• The POWER Program is anticipated to be held in person on Sunday afternoon, January 11, 2026.

Participation in the APGO FDS POWER Program is appropriate for inclusion on a CV.
