2026 APGO FDS:
Round Table Abstract Submission Instructions

The submission deadline has passed.

The most highly regarded Round Table discussions begin with a short presentation about “hot/out-of-the-box topics” or novel ideas in ob-gyn medical education followed by an open forum for sharing ideas within the small group.

Presenters must adhere to the Checklist for Curricular Materials for Faculty Development Seminar Speakers.

The APGO FDS is a fully in-person meeting with no options for virtual or hybrid presentations or attendance.

Abstract Format:

  • Title (Maximum of 100 characters including spaces. Abstract titles should be concise and convey the content of the session)
  • Maximum of One Author*
    *Only if the first author is a medical student, resident, fellow, or ob-gyn clerkship coordinator, they MUST BE PAIRED with one faculty sponsor who is an APGO member and who will also register for the meeting, attend, and actively support the presentation IN PERSON for a maximum of two (2) presenters.
  • Précis (maximum of 140 characters including spaces)
  • Abstract (maximum of 100 words)
    • Objective/purpose (e.g., educational relevance)
    • Major discussion points
    • Interactive component(s)
    • Take-home product (e.g., toolkit, resources, rubrics, handouts, pocket guides)
    • Word count
    • Key word (Choose one key word that illustrates the central theme of the presentation.)
