*You are registering for the CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting scheduled to be held in-person March 9 – 12, 2022 at the Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando, Florida. We’ve determined that if for any reason we are unable to conduct the meeting in person, we will not be able to offer a hybrid, virtual, or on-demand meeting this year.

COVID Policy

ACOG and APGO are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting participants and guests.

COVID-19 vaccination will be required for all attendees of the 2022 CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting. By registering for the meeting, you attest that you are fully vaccinated. We are closely monitoring CDC guidelines, state and federal mandates, and health safety measures that will be in place at the time of the meeting. Updates and information about on-site protocols will be communicated as soon as they become available.

We are working with the Rosen Shingle Creek to implement measures to prevent spread of the COVID-19 virus at our meeting. As we prepare for the meeting, we wanted to provide some important safety information:

• Following CDC guidelines, ACOG & APGO will require all attendees and staff to wear a mask, and practice social distancing to the extent practical in any indoor space.
• Rosen Shingle Creek staff will be masked in CREOG & APGO meeting space.
• Sanitizing stations will be prominently displayed throughout the property.
• ACOG & APGO staff will work closely with the hotel to adhere to social distancing regulations while maintaining a quality in-person experience when planning seating and room sets.

Waiver

1. Meeting is Completely Voluntary. Attendee acknowledges that the Meeting is completely voluntary, and that Attendee is under no obligation or other pressure to participate in the Meeting.
2. Risk Acknowledgement.  Attendee acknowledges the Meeting may expose the Attendee to certain risks including, but not limited to, COVID-19 and that injuries, death, or other harm could occur to Attendee or others. Attendee hereby accepts any and all risks of injury (including death) to Attendee arising out of or in any way connected with the Meeting.
3. Attendee’s Obligations.
   1. Attendee will not participate in the Meeting if the Attendee:
      1. is experiencing or has experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 related illness as described by the CDC* (which can be mild to severe and can include fever, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, temporary loss of taste, digestive symptoms such as diarrhea or loss of appetite) in the most recent 10 days;
      2. is directed by a health care professional or public health official to self-quarantine due to a suspected or confirmed case of the COVID-19 virus by anyone with whom the Attendee has had close or household contact (within 6 feet) in the most recent 10 days;
      3. or has tested positive or been in close or household contact (within 6 feet) with anyone testing positive for the COVID-19 virus within the most recent 10 days; Attendee will immediately notify ACOG/APGO through its designated contact person if any Attendee that attended or participated in an Event has or reports any of the above conditions.
   2. Attendee will fully and promptly cooperate with ACOG/APGO in any contact tracing as requested by ACOG/APGO in such circumstances.
   3. Attendee agrees and warrants that at all times when Attendee is participating in the Meeting, Attendee will comply with all health and safety guidelines as then required by ACOG/APGO, which is following the current CDC guidelines relative to the COVID-19 virus. In the event that state or local laws or regulations related to the COVID-19 virus are more restrictive, ACOG/APGO will follow the state or local laws or regulations or the established/published protocols for the meeting.
4. Release. Attendee hereby waives, releases, and forever discharges any and all claims for damages for personal injury, death, or property damage which Attendee and/or Attendee’s children, heirs, executors, assigns, parents, personal representatives, or estate may have or which may hereafter accrue as a result of participation in the Meeting.
5. Financial Responsibility.  In the event that Attendee should require medical care or treatment for illness or injury, including but not limited to COVID-19, sustained as a result of participation in the Meeting, Attendee agrees to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment.

Cancellation Policy

All registration and ticket cancellation, substitution and refund requests must be made in writing. Cancellations received on or before February 23, 2022, will result in a refund minus a 25% administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after February 23, 2022. The administrative fee will be waived for cancellations due to reasons listed in Section 3 of the Meeting Waiver, which may by necessity be requested after the February 23 deadline, or for institutional restrictions on work related travel including business academic attendance and meetings and conferences (dated HR policy must be provided). Submit refund requests here.

Refunds will not be given for no-shows. In rare cases, exceptions may be made. Any requests for exceptions to the cancellation/refund policy must be submitted in writing by the registrant with appropriate documentation no later than February 23, 2022. After that time, no refund exceptions will be considered.

Photo/Video Release

During the Annual Meeting, attendees, vendors, guests and exhibitors may be photographed by the CREOG & APGO official photographers/videographers. Attendees grant permission to the CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting official photographers/videographers to take photographs or video of the exhibitors’ booths and exhibitors’ employees and contractors during the CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting. In addition, attendees also grant ACOG and APGO the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to use these photographs and/or videos of attendees including the rights to publish, reproduce, crop, edit, assign, exhibit, and distribute copies of the photograph or video, in print, electronic or other media. Attendees also represent, warrant, and guarantee that they have full power and authority to grant this permission.

  Two awards given, one for best oral abstract presentation, $500, and one for best poster presentation, $300, from submissions by graduates of the APGO Academic Scholars and Leaders program between 2016-2020

Peer Review
All submissions will be peer-reviewed anonymously by members of CREOG & APGO.

Please read the submission rules before submitting an abstract.

• Abstracts must be submitted online via the website only. ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED BY EMAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Abstracts must be received by the deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
• If selected, presenting authors must be registered participants.
• The submitter/presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and agree to its submission, before submitting the abstract.
• Data or studies in a complete abstract that has been previously published in a peer-reviewed journal will not be accepted.
• Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: All authors will be required to submit a disclosure form via the submission system and disclose any conflict of interest.

CREOG and APGO are among the leaders in women’s health, representing more than 2,000 medical educators combined. These organizations share a mission: to promote excellence in women’s health care by providing medical educators with the best available resources.

CREOG is a council of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) that represents approximately 300 ob-gyn residency programs in United States and Canada. These programs include department chairs, program directors, resident educators and members of the Association of Program Managers of Obstetrics and Gynecology (APMOG).

APGO is a nonprofit association representing 240 obstetrics and gynecology departments in allopathic and osteopathic teaching institutions in the United States and Canada. Additionally, APGO is home to 950 individual physician-educator members, as well as 165 members of the Medical Education Clerkship Coordinators in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MECCOG).

If you must make a reservation by phone, please be sure to mention the CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting to ensure you are reserving a room within the block.
